Alkimia is a café run by Irena Stein and her team located in the recently renovated Gilman Hall on the Johns Hopkins University Homewood Campus. The name Alkimia, from the Arabic al-kimiya, translates as alchemy. At Alkimia we strive to create gold from our ingredients. The symbol used is an alchemy symbol for filter, a core process/tool in creating our delicious coffees and teas.
Alkimia is open from Monday till Friday serving delicious coffees, lunches and snacks. You can find us next to the atrium in the building, opposite of the main entrance. See you soon!
